Apparently my baby boy is just too pretty to be a boy — within the past twenty-four hours, THREE people have called him a she. And he was wearing green and blue both days, and a very boyish striped hat. It must be those eyelashes. The comment I get the most is “they look exactly alike!”
That’s what everyone said about Marty when he was a baby and toddler. People would stop and say how “pretty” he was. They were mismerized by his big blue eyes and long eyelashes. When he was 2 dressed in overalls with blonde curls they still called him a girl. Final Marty started saying “I’m not a girl!” Both Charley and Flora have Marty’s big blue baby eyes and long eyelashes! They do look alike, but Flora looks more like Marty and Charley looks more like you.
