Our new friend, Jessica Nyiredi, a student at the New England School of Photography, came over on Friday and took some great shots of the kids. Charley wore the vintage sailor jacket from that lot I scored on ebay, and Flora wore everything from a skirt to a tutu to a dress-up dress. Here’s a few of my faves, and the rest can be seen at the link below. Thanks, Jessica!

Sunday, March 21st, 2010The crocus are up. The days are longer. The weather is warmer. It can only mean spring has sprung!
21 Months Old
Saturday, March 20th, 2010Lovin’ the warm weather, Charley has been riding bikes, chasing bubbles, digging in the sandbox, running amuck, and all around “getting into” every chance he gets! You can usually find him apprenticing by Marty’s side when he’s fixing something, busting a move when he hears music, or eating just about anything and asking for more. He loves to climb, play on the playground, and peek-a-boo. When he’s not whining, he’s a happy guy who loves to be silly and social!
St. Paddy’s
Wednesday, March 17th, 2010The kids went to school on St. Patrick’s Day, and by the time they got home, they were a mess! Flora’s class had a party where they gorged on green fare and decorated potted clovers, and after school the center held a potluck dinner where the families got to eat and mingle. Flora wore green head to toe, and even green nailpolish!

Tuesday, March 9th, 2010Major Brownie Points
Monday, March 1st, 2010Flora earned some MAJOR brownie points with Mom today. At the library, she was kissing me and kissing me on my tummy at the check out desk. Then she says, real loud, “I just can’t stop kissing you I love you so much!” And later, at the coffee shop, after getting compliment nine million and one on her beautiful blue eyes, she says, “Mama, your eyes are not blue, they are brown, but they’re still gorgeous!” I’m going to have to remember these the next time she says, “You’re stupid and I hate you and you can’t come to my birfday pahty or sleep in my bed ever again!”
